KlesLwR is safe.
Here's why AV sometimes flags it.

We know warnings can look scary. KlesLwR is a legitimate macro and utility app — not malware. Some scanners label it a hack tool because of features they also flag in other gaming software. This page explains exactly what triggers those alerts and what we never do with your data.

64/66 Clean

Independent scan results (VirusTotal)

The latest v1.3.0 build was scanned on VirusTotal. 64 of 66 engines reported no issues. The two that flagged it did not call it a virus — they classified it as a risk tool because of WinDivert (network packet handling used for the Roblox network toggle).

Vendor Label What it means
Kaspersky Not-a-virus: RiskTool Explicitly not classified as a virus — flagged as a tool that can modify network behavior.
Webroot W32.Hack.Tool Generic category for macro/input/network utilities — same bucket as many game tools.

Why does this happen?

Antivirus uses heuristics. Tools that simulate input, touch network drivers, or ship unsigned often get a caution label — even when they're legitimate.

🌐

WinDivert (network toggle)

Optional Roblox network toggle uses WinDivert — the same open-source library used by VPNs and packet tools. AV vendors label anything with WinDivert as hacktool.windivert. We only touch RobloxPlayerBeta.exe traffic when you enable it.

🖱️

Input simulation

Macros send keyboard and mouse events — that's the whole point. Heuristic scanners treat automated input as suspicious because cheats use the same APIs. KlesLwR does not read game memory or inject into Roblox.

📦

Large single-file build

KlesLwR ships as one ~280 MB self-contained executable with the full .NET runtime bundled. Big packed EXEs are a common malware pattern, so scanners scrutinize them more — even when the app is clean.

🔒

Code protection

Release builds use standard obfuscation to protect our license system. AV sometimes flags protected binaries because malware uses the same techniques. Debug builds without protection run fine for developers.

⚠️

Not code-signed yet

Windows SmartScreen may show "Unknown publisher" because the EXE isn't Authenticode-signed yet. That is a trust warning, not proof of malware. Always download only from kleslwr.com or our official GitHub releases.

🍪

Local Roblox cookies

Account tools read .ROBLOSECURITY cookies from your PC and encrypt them with Windows DPAPI. Cookie access triggers some heuristics. Your cookies are never uploaded to our servers — see our Privacy Policy.

What KlesLwR never does

If something claims to be KlesLwR and does any of the below, it is not from us.

  • Steal your Roblox password — we never ask for it.
  • Upload, log, or sell your Roblox session cookies to our servers or third parties.
  • Inject into or read Roblox game memory.
  • Run hidden crypto miners or ransomware.
  • Force Administrator rights on startup — the app runs as a normal user (asInvoker).
  • Send your license key or username when you opt out of music sharing.

What we do protect

  • Roblox cookies encrypted locally with Windows DPAPI — stored only on your PC.
  • Direct HTTPS connections to official *.roblox.com for account validation (never proxied through us).
  • Optional anonymous music charts — toggle off anytime in Music settings.
  • License verification over HTTPS — no secrets in logs.

How to install safely

  1. Download only from kleslwr.com or our linked GitHub release — never random Discord DMs or file hosts.
  2. If Windows SmartScreen appears: click More infoRun anyway. This means "unsigned publisher," not "infected."
  3. If your antivirus quarantines the file: restore it and add an exclusion for the KlesLwR install folder, or temporarily pause real-time scan during install.
  4. Compare the file hash below with your download to confirm you have the real build.
  5. Still unsure? Ask in our Discord or check our public VirusTotal report (64/66 clean).
